Ok so I guess i must blog about the trip.... there's just soooooooo much to say and soooo many pictures that it is impossible to cram it into a post!!!! i had intended to blog as i went along, but the website was blocked in china and i could have gone on while i was in thailand but there was so much to see and do that i hardly went on the computer at all.... anyways in this post though i will just share a few of my favorite thailand pictures.....
this is me on our balcony. those boats would take you back and forth to downtown bangkok. they have these rivers and canals all over the city which is why it's referred to as the "venice of the east" hehe....
Here we are exploring the canals up close...there were so many beautiful flowers

cute kids saying hi as we boated along all afternoon...
a typical downtown street... people just going about their day with the amazing temples in the background. what a life.

It is impossible to catch the beauty of the temples in pictures.... at least with my camera haha

artwork at the temples

giant reclining buddha... this was breathtaking

this is a panel at the grand palace.... i just loved the thai writing.... i couldn't read any store names or anything hahah but it was sooooo pretty even though i had no idea what anything said!

paying my respects ;)

we of course went to the floating market which was crowded but amazing... here is papa in his goofy thai hat :)

the floating market sold everything from fruit to snakes!!! i was so excited to hold this guy hahaha

me and papa on an elephant!we spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool at our hotel as well... the place was unreal
lights at our hotel
sun setting over our hotel... i took this from a boat taxi on our last night there..... our time in thailand was incredible. we saw and did so much in just a few days that i felt like i left with a pretty good understanding of the culture. i LOVED the country and didn't want to leave :( in fact we ended up staying one extra day :)..... i can't wait to go back someday.
